A Brand That Tells a Story
Port Patch is a protective cover for those undergoing port-based treatments. It is an adhesive patch that covers the port site to limit irritation and discomfort during tough times. The design of Port Patch represents an innovative product in a welcoming, warm design.
Opportunity
The Story
Port Patch was created by a strong woman undergoing chemo. She was battling ovarian cancer, so the brand is represented by turquoise to represent her fight. The logo mark itself showcases an abstracted version of the product as two hearts intertwined. Not only does the patch sit over the heart, but it represents the love that people need during their battles.
Business Strategic Approach
What We Did
Port Patch is designed to feel like a warm, comforting walk on the beach, or like the feeling of a hug from a loved one. It's designed with the user in mind first and foremost, and the visual identity represents that through rounded shapes, welcoming colors, and kind typography.
